The time bonding, learning, and experiencing the outdoor life are now cherished memories, never forgotten as they will always hold a special part in my life!




Texas Parks & Trails Alliance Group Hike This Weekend


The Texas Parks & Trails Alliance is holding a group hike at Binkley Park Bike Trail on November 2nd from 9 am to 11 am. Participants meet at the gazebo to join the group. In case of bad weather, an alternate hiking trail will be used.


Everyone is welcome to join the hiking event – adults and children. The are only a few steep locations within the hiking distance. The park is located at 101 Binkley Park Drive in Sherman, Texas. For more info, please message the alliance on their Facebook page.

Lake Texoma Fishing Report from TPWD (Mar. 25)

FAIR. Water stained; 54-58 degrees; 3.69’ high. Striped bass and white bass are fair using slabs, shad imitations, and live shad on main lake humps and points. Largemouth bass are fair fishing plastics and crankbaits in shallow water. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs by boathouses, marinas, creeks, and inlets. Catfish are fair on cut bait, and minnows in 25’.
