If you're not familiar with geocaching, it's an organized treasure hunt in state parks and other specified locations. Hunters use their smart phones or other GPS-enabled devices to navigate a specific set of GPS coordinates, and then looking high and low at that location for a previously-hidden container.
It's a family hobby that's growing in popularity since nearly everyone has a smart phone with GPS on it now. Get all the basic information you could ever need at http://www.geocaching.com and then you'll be up to speed and ready to take on the Texas Parks and Wildlife Geocache Challenge.
Get involved with it at http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/spdest/activities/outdoor_recreation/geocache/ and also on Facebook.
