Lake Texoma: Oklahoma Free Fishing Days June 6-7

Lake Texoma: Oklahoma Free Fishing Days June 6-7

Free fishing days are coming to Oklahoma on the 6th and 7th of June. During these two days, no fishing license is required to fish in the waters of local fishing spots. General fishing regulations are still in force during these days. Yet, individuals, families, and groups (with social distancing) can head out the door and enjoy the day fishing!

Introducing the Sport of Fishing

Free fishing days offer the opportunity to introduce the sport of fishing to young family members. With guidance, children gain the occasion to learn the basics of fishing.
Adults interested in trying their hand at fishing can also do so during this time of the year. During the free fishing days, residents of Oklahoma can participate as well as out of state visitors.
