Victor Smith and another dad James Hill brought their 3 sons for some Lake Texoma fishing. They squeezed in a last minute fishing charter before school starts.
Captain Chris Carey of Striper Express was their guide. Carey said; “I’ve got a treat for you guys today. I’ve located a large school of magnum white bass.”
The fish were hungry. The fathers and sons landed over 100 magnum white bass. The fish were biting white Little George spinners, Chrome Castmasters and 1 ounce white and chartreuse slabs.
The white bass or “Sandies” which we commonly call them here were huge. Most were big 15 – 19” long.
