It has really turned cold here on the lake, but the water temperature is still where the fish are feeding, and the birds are giving a great clue where the fish are. The water is clear, and fish can be found all the way from the surfaces to some 70 feet down. It is not difficult to find the fish as they will fill your fishfinder from top to bottom. Our lake was down but with the recent rains, we are gaining ground fast, with less problem of possibly striking something in shallow water. I am using only slabs with color chartreus in it, and the heavier the better with the high winds. You can also catch fish with live bait. Anyway if you need some help with methods working now, give me a call, and we can talk about it more. Good Fishing...."JD"
