Enjoying the great outdoors is a wonderful experience - from camping, fishing, hunting, and taking time with family & friends! Growing up in my family included all these outdoor opportunities! The time bonding, learning, and experiencing the outdoor life are now cherished memories, never forgotten as they will always hold a special part in my life!




Frontier Day is here near Lake Texoma Ok Tx and many will come to enjoy the fun festivities! The main event is this Saturday, September 29th from 9 am to 4 pm. Also, Thursday & Friday before will include “wristband nights” for the carnival fun. Individuals and families are welcome to join in at Friendship Park located at 615 Highway 120 East.



Admission to the park is free and many will enjoy the day of celebration. Activities include carnival fun, parade in town, entertainment, food vendors, crafts vendors, games, children’s games, and more. Children are also welcome to join the free pumpkin decorating in the park.



Food concessions will be available to families. Food items include lemonade, kettle corn, barbeque, cotton candy, snow cones, and more. For more info on this fun family event near Lake Texoma, please call 903-786-6371.

Water stained; 54–57 degrees; 3.70’ low. Black bass are slow on shallow crankbaits, shakeyhead worms and spinnerbaits. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. Striped bass are fair on slabs. Catfish are good on trotlines.
