Lake Texoma Fishing Report - Striper Fishing Is PHENOMENAL

Another great week for Lake Texoma Striper Fishing - it is phenomenal! Our average temperatures are 20 degrees above normal. The striper fishing has been nothing short of WORLD CLASS.

Now let's check on your local Texoma striper guides forecast: Highs today are in the 60's. We'll have some clear skies with south winds 10 to 15 miles per hour. Striper Express has fishing charters all week and the weather is looking good. The big fish are biting. We are using Road Runner jigs and sassy shad soft plastic lures. The artificial lures are the sporting way to target the larger fish.

Let's talk Tuesday. Tomorrow the low is 40 degrees in the morning. We will have southerly winds warming us up to 55 by our 11:00 am board and depart to go fishing. We are expecting more big stripers. It's time to go fishing.

Wednesday should be another great day to go fishing. We are going to stay on the warm side. Luckily outside temperatures are holding. You can expect another exceptional day to get on the lake. We have a team building group of 24 men coming to fish. Yesterday lots of stripers were caught ranging from 9.5 to 15 pounds. Good luck men!

Thursday we can expect generally light temperatures up to 65 degrees. Our local fishologist Rod Ready has been fishing every day. He confirmed that the big fish bite is on. He has caught twelve stripers this week that weighed 10 to 15 pounds. Nice going Rod!

AND NOW FOR THE EXTENDED STRIPER FISHING FORECAST.

Friday partly cloudy with the highs in the 60's with southwest winds. We have two groups arriving from Amarillo, Texas for the Big Fish Special, 2 days of fishing and 2 days of lodging. Go Get Em Fellas!

Saturday we can expect highs in the mid 60's with southerly winds 15-20 miles per hour. It will be perfect fishing weather for the group of dads and sons coming for the weekend fishing.

THE BIG STORY is there have been no major winter storms. The rain we received gave Lake Texoma a good drink of water. The legendary world class winter fishing at Lake Texoma is in full swing. With lows in the mid 40's and highs in the 60's get ready to catch a bunch of rod bending and line stripping.

Stay tuned to your next striper fishing report. And remember, "We Guarantee Excitement!"

Fishing Report from TPWD (Jun. 11)

FAIR. Water stained; 74 degrees; 10.38 feet above pool. Striper fishing is improving as the lake settles and fish move up in the water column. Fish are suspended in deep water and on shallow humps 15-25 feet of water. Live bait and lures are working on the right day in the right school of fish. Channel catfish are great along rocky banks using punch bait on baited holes in 10-20 feet of water. Blue catfish are in deeper water on dead shad or cut bait suspended above the muddy water near the bottom. Bass fishing will improve as the lake clears up and the fish move to summer patterns with warmer water. Fish flooded brush in the backs of the creeks and near points. Docks and marinas near the south end of the lake will have less murky water. Report by Jacob Orr, Lake Texoma, Guaranteed Guide Service. Striped bass bite is improving on live bait, with some small fish being caught on artificials in 10-30 feet of water. The fishing improves along with the clarity. A few fish are schooling. Report by John Blasingame, Adventure Texoma Outdoors.
