Celebrate Mardi Gras OIP Style! Spend the day (and night) with us enjoying our great Cajun food - Jambalaya, Etouffee, Red Beans & Rice, Po' Boys, and more; and, of course, HURRICANES! At 7 pm the Bourbon Knights bring the best Dixieland Jazz to OIP - stomp your feet, clap your hands, sing along, but certainly you will enjoy this live music! Also, in February, until the 23rd, save your Old Iron Post receipts, along with those from other downtown Sherman businesses, and turn them in to the Main Street office, 100 N Travis Suite D, on either Friday, February 22 or Saturday, February 23, for your entries into our annual Mardi Gras prize basket drawing. Every $10 spent in downtown Sherman gets you one entry (up to $200/person/business) and there are double entries for money spent on Saturday February 23 - Mardi Gras Day!
