Denison will be having a fireworks show with BEM Live at the Munson Stadium. Enjoy and be sing with freedom as we celebrate Independence Day.

17th Annual Burn Your Buns Bike Ride will start from 7:30 am - 12:30 pm at Bridgewood Farms, 11680 Rose Rd, Willis, Texas. Bridgewood is hosting the 17th Annual Burn Your Buns Bike Ride on July 4th morning. The venue will be in the hilly area of Conroe and Willis, you can choose between 20, 31, or 62-mile routes and enjoy hotdogs and watermelon after the fun ride.

$40/ Individuals or $60/family (2 adults and 2 children- Limit 4) if registered by Friday, June 25, 2021 (receive a t-shirt) $50/individual or $70/family for a day of registration.

Fishing Report from TPWD (Jun. 16)

GOOD. Water lightly stained; 78-82 degrees; 3.83 feet high. Striped bass are good on live bait and swimbaits in the river channel and tributaries. White bass are good on slabs and jigging spoons. Largemouth bass are good fishing wacky worms, shaky head jigs, square billed crankbaits, top waters, and bladed spinner baits. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs near boathouses, timber near a channel, and brush piles. Catfish are good on earthworms and cut bait.
