For the birds... If you enjoy bird watching and a great breakfast, you'll love our Eagle Watching Breakfast Cruises this January and February! Join us on Saturdays this Winter from 8a-10a for a one-of-a-kind experience on Lake Texoma. We sail out of Lighthouse Resort and Marina and search for Bald Eagles that migrate to Lake Texoma for the winter. We'll also keep our eye out for pelicans and a few of the other 600 species of birds that call Lake Texoma their home. This makes for a great bird watching experience!

For your belly! Our Chef is aboard and prepares a fantastic breakfast for you which includes eggs your way, bacon & sausage, potatoes, biscuits & gravy, fresh fruit, and pastries. We also serve hot coffee, hot chocolate and hot apple cider along with setups for Mimosas and Bloody Mary's.

Our vessels are climate controlled keeping you toasty inside even on the colder winter days. Space is limited so reserve early as these cruises will fill up. The cruise is $59 per person (children 3 and under are free).

All Cruises depart from Lighthouse Marina Charter Dock at 300 Lighthouse Drive, Pottsboro, TX 75076. Please arrive 15 minutes early to start the pre-boarding process.

CRUISE, STAY & SAVE! Take 20% off a Cabin at Lighthouse Resort & Marina when you book tickets for our Eagle Watching Breakfast Cruise OR Cupid's Arrow Valentine's Dinner Cruise. Offer is only valid when combined with the cruises as listed. Give us a call at 903.361.0775 to learn more.

Fishing Report from TPWD (Jul. 2)

FAIR. Water stained; 84 degrees; 2.44 feet above pool. Striper fishing is good on ledges and humps. Fish are moving quickly on contour in 15-20 feet of water, or suspended 30 feet down on deep humps in 50-70 feet of water on live shad. Topwater baits will be hit-and-miss in the mornings and late evenings before dark. Channel and blue catfish are great on points and ledges in 25-30 feet of water using punch bait. Bigger blues are roaming deeper water flats in 50-70 feet of water, cut shad and whole gizzard shad are working. Bass fishing is good near docks and rocks on crankbaits and quick moving baits. Look for pockets of clearer water and fish to be suspended. Report by Jacob Orr, Lake Texoma, Guaranteed Guide Service. Striped bass are tough with an inconsistent bite. The flood gates have been closed and the bite should improve as the water settles. Best bite has been with live bait or trolling 20-30 feet of water. Some reports of catches anchored in deep water. Still waiting for the small threadfin shad to run midlake. Report by John Blasingame, Adventure Texoma Outdoors. Anticipate increased boater traffic this weekend as we celebrate our Nation’s Independence Day.
