    Join us at Oasis at the Lighthouse Lodge for our Blues and Brews Series where we combine great Blues music from local and regional artists, a selection of local beers as well as crowd-favorites, and a rotating menu of delicious foods. This time, it's Blues, Brews, and BBQ!

    And to make it even better...we're making this a good old-fashioned barbecue competition!

    On Saturday, September 14, 2019 - we will be hosting an all-day event with BBQ tasting from grill masters, live music, activities, fun/games for kids, and of course blues and brews.

    *Activities start at 2pm with BBQ tasting, live music, and activities including a bounce house. There will also be a dunk tank with local celebrities and staff available for dunking for 1 ticket per chance.

    *Oasis at the Lighthouse Lodge and the bar will be open all day with food and drinks available for purchase.

    ***Ticket prices are $25. Kids 7 and under are free.

    *Discounts are available for advance purchase through Eventbrite.

    Lighthouse Lodge is located at Lighthouse Resort and Marina and has a beautiful water front view, gigantic covered patio, full-service bar, and a great atmosphere for friends and family.

    Fishing Report from TPWD (Apr. 30)

    FAIR. Water stained; 62 degrees; 3.54 feet below pool. The striper fishing is great with the rise in water levels and surface temperatures. The shad spawn is in full force, look for fish shallow along rocky banks on Topwaters and swimbaits. Look for birds on the banks and surface activity. Crappie are still scattered and in spawning stages. Fish are suspended under docks and near the top of brush. Jigs and small shad are working in 12-15 feet of water near creeks and coves. Catfish are showing up along the rocks and shallow flats. Cut shad or prepared baits in 5-12 feet of water near points and drop-offs. Bass are at the backs of coves and for suspended fish near docks. The shad spawn and rise in lake levels will pull fish on to the banks as well. Report by Jacob Orr, Lake Texoma, Guaranteed Guide Service. The lake is up several feet and there is lots of mud and floating debris, so navigate with caution. Striped bass are good along mudlines, flats and under the birds with swimbaits.
