Platter Flats Campground is located on Lake Texoma in Oklahoma's Cross Timbers Region. The lake is said to be the "Playground of the Southwest," where outdoor activities like fishing, boating, hiking and hunting abound. The campground is situated on the eastern side of Lake Texoma. Post and blackjack oaks forest the rolling hills of the region. Deer, turkeys, bobcats, hawks, waterfowl and songbirds are abundant around the lake.

This campground offers 26 family campsites with electrical/water hookups, 37 equestrian sites with hookups, and 20 equestrian sites without hookups. A day-use group picnic shelter with electricity is available. Other amenities include flush and vault toilets, showers and drinking water. A dump station, boat ramp and dock are located on-site.

Lake Texoma Fishing Report from TPWD (Nov. 18)

EXCELLENT. Water lightly stained; 66 degrees; 1.69 low. Striped bass and white bass are excellent on live shad and slabs. Diving birds are marking feeding schools feeding on the surface throughout the lake. Largemouth bass are good fishing plastic worms, bladed spinners, and jerk baits in 2-12’. Crappie are fair on minnows near boathouses, timber, creek ledges, and brush piles in 15-25’. Catfish are good on cut bait and punch bait.
