For those who have attended previously, we will be doing things a little differently at this March workshop. Note! New participants are welcome! Walt has asked each participant to rank order these choices for the workshop topic:
____ Dissect and draw the parts of a flower

____ How to draw birds

____ How to make a printable esthetically pleasing journal page

____ How to make standardized diagrams of birds, insects, flowers etc. on which to make notes for later identification

____ The anatomy of insects

Please vote by marking your choices, 1 through 5, and sending to us at friendsofhagerman@gmail.com as an email attachment when you register.

The session on March 24 will include an indoor period, 10 am-Noon, and outdoor sketching, weather permitting, 1 – 3 pm. Bring art supplies and a brown bag lunch. Refrigerator and microwave available. Water, coffee, and cookies will be provided.

Walt has asked us to tell you that he is recommending "Laws Guide to Nature Drawing and Journaling" – “the best book yet by far on the subject”. (By John Muir Laws)
