Well the second week of February is a wonderful time for the big ones. I am not talking about fish, rather.....ears. I had mine pulled on, until I gave in to take my wife on a cruise. We left on a big boat, out of New Orleans, for a seven day cruise of Mexico, Belize, and Honduras.
It was the most fun I have had in ages, even with being led around by my ears. I enjoyed the ride, sites, scenery, and people of the different ports. I gave up some of my fishing trips, which is unusual for me, but learned the weather was not that good great on Texoma, although I wore shorts, short sleeve shirts, and suffered from sunburns where I was vacationing. I highly recommend a little time away at times, even a cruise, but can not recommend the method used to "get er done". If you are looking for fishing at Lake Texoma, it is still very good, as I am back to business. The Blue-Green Algae is no longer a problem, with the recent rains and cool weather so head this way. I hope to see you in the near future, and if you show up with big ears like mine, I will know where you have been, and your method of GPS. Good Fishing, JD Dorsey
