It appears the fish have finished spawning and are returning to the main lake in large numbers. Fish are big and tough. They are also very hungry. Fishing and fast and furious and should hold up for a few more weeks. The only problem is finding box fish to fill out your limit. Returning big fish unharmed is more the norm than the exception.
