T.A. Brauer will Be Performing LIVE at the Blue Ostrich Winery!!

T.A. Brauer began his musical journey at age 6 when he began the formal study of piano. He continued his studies in piano, trumpet and, along the way, added guitar to the mix.

In high school and while attending college, T.A. began performing professionally as a pianist and has continued over the years playing piano and guitar in bands and as a solo act. He has been a member of many bands including ABC Dot recording artist, Jeris Ross and the Badlands Band, Toby Keith Covel's Easy Money Band, East Country, Stampede Band and many others.

Brauer has performed at many venues, both large and small across the State of Oklahoma and in Texas. As a member of various bands, has opened for such acts as Sawyer Brown and Johnny Paycheck.

After several years performing with other bands T.A. formed and led his own bands performing lead vocals, keyboards and guitar on covers and original material.

Approximately 25 years ago, with a growing appreciation for singer-songwriters, and a desire to connect with his audience, Brauer began playing more intimate settings, primarily as a solo artist, and continues to do so today. Brauer favors venues such as state and county fairs, wine gardens, restaurants, social gatherings, private parties, class reunions, dinner parties, music festivals, art festivals and corporate events.

In addition to his repertoire of over 450 covers, T.A. composes and performs his original material, all of which comes from actual life experiences. Having sailed boats since age 11 to present, T.A. appreciates music with maritime and summer influences.

T.A.'s vast repertoire spans a variety of musical styles including, but not limited to, Jimmy Buffett, Waylon Jennings, Jethro Tull, Guy Clark, John Prine Jerry Jeff Walker, Willie Nelson, Zac Brown, Eric Clapton, Beach Boys, Blaze Foley, Harry Chapin, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Eagles, Eddy Raven, Cat Stevens, Kris Kristofferson, Billy Joe Shaver, Robert Earl Keen, Earl Thomas Conley, George Strait, Merle Haggard, Dean Martin, Neil Diamond and many, many others.

Brauer continues to perform regularly at music festivals, car shows, restaurants, churches and private functions throughout the year.
Brauer is a former board member of the Midwestern Country Music Entertainers Association and is currently a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publisher.

Fishing Report from TPWD (Mar. 20)

GOOD. Water normal stain; 57 degrees; 1.35 feet below pool. Striped bass fishing is good using live shad on main lake ledges and flats in 30-40 feet of water. The bite has improved drastically around 10:30-11:00 A.M. each day, so stick it out if you are not seeing active fish early. Backs of coves and around the mouths of the rivers are good with swimbaits in 8-15 feet of water where the water is dirty and warmer. Catfish are slow, anchor in shallow water near the rivers where the inflow is using whole gizzard shad or cut buffalo for big fish. Smaller fish showing up on the flats in 20-30 feet of water. Crappie are fair in the creeks in 1-5 feet of water using jigs and minnows on brush sticking up or lay downs from the bank. Mo glo and black/chartreuse on a slip cork in shallow creeks. Largemouth and smallmouth bass are fair on swimbaits along the bluffs and on sandy points with stumps in 5-8 feet of water. Topwater bite will be on soon! Report by Jacob Orr, Guaranteed Guide Service Lake Texoma. Striped bass continue to be caught with Alabama rigs or sassy shad targeting structure. Somedays fish are in 5 feet and some in 40 feet of water. The water clarity is clear near the dam and muddy where rivers enter the lake. Report by John Blasingame, Adventure Texoma Outdoors.
