The butterflies will take over at Hagerman NWR on October 14. Enjoy the Butterfly Garden, see Monarch tagging, create a butterfly craft, learn to garden for butterflies and more! View butterflies under the microscope - enjoy butterfly story time and take a Storybook Walk! All activities are family friendly and free of charge. No reservations needed. PLUS Flying Pig (hot dog) lunch available for a small donation, or bring your own picnic.

Water lightly stained; 57–60 degrees; 0.89’ high. Black bass are good on Texas rigged craws, medium crankbaits and shakyhead worms. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs on brush piles. Striped bass are good on slabs. Catfish are fair on trotlines.
